Who are your best characters? How about compared to your Capcom vs SNK 2 character list? I know certain characters seem to stick out from the rest, but that doesn't mean your playing style can utilize their full potential.

I'm just now getting around to this game and learning the characters but so far mine seem to be Kyo and Cammy.

I've abandoned CVS. But my CVS2 team is Zangief, Honda, and a toss between Cammy, Balrog (claw), and Bison (Boxer). Zangief is my main weapon in that line-up.
