VIRTUA STRIKER 4 2006 question

hi guys i have the english/european version of vs 2006 and i noticed on youtube that in the jap version some of the shirts are different, are there any other updates in the jap version that arent in the english ? Would the jap version gd rom work on my system ? i am thinking of buying it
