yellow lindbergh sega error

hi,
I have yellow lindbergh sega for HOD4 a Error occurs during the startup that (validate detention disk)
any solution ?

Do you mean 'validate destination disc' ? If so just be patient it can take ages to load from that screen.
How long you giving it?

Put a new HDD in there, make sure the HOD4 keychip and hook up the HOTD4 DVD in the DVD drive.
You'll need to wait about 10minutes on the validate destination screen as it is formating /dev/hdb and making the linux partitions.
Process will take 30-40 mins to get HOTD4 running as it will need to install, reboot, change kernel os, re-load HOTD4 for the second time, then bingo..
If you've not got HOTD4 DVD then you're screwed as HOTD4 out of the box will not work on a later kernel.
