Is there any noteworthy difference between the two, other than more selectable characters on Upper?

Naomi version is more unbalanced, there was a page once years ago with all the differences.
Also looks slightly worse as it runs under the Naomi's 640x480 rez IIRC.

It does also run on 15k which does look better than 31k. It's too bad they don't include the higher res artwork for 31k so it would look better and not so blocky as it usually turns out to be. :smt012

Its been a while since I played my copy, but if I remember correctly the graphics, both characters and backgrounds, are filtered even in low-res mode. Its the main reason I can't stand any of the 2D games that are ported to consoles anymore. Low-res 2D needs scanlines! Blame it on the HD-TV's I suppose. I'm not even sure if newer TVs and consoles can do true low-res to be honest.

Am I reading this correctly that the CPS version is the better choice?
