RESOLUTION PROBLEMS

alright here goes i have the standard uk naomi universal cabinet its had a mame pc system put in it but it can only display in the lowest possible resolution i believed that the naomi displyed better than this when i put the resolution up to say 800*600 it goes all scrambled can anyone advise the screen is the 31khz model im running an amd athlon xp 2000 with an ati radeon vga card (using the original vga lead as you get with the naomi system) will i need a new screen which can display these resolutions or is there a way i can save this monitor and up the reolution :smt017

the Naomi monitor will do VGA so 640x480 is the highest you'll get off of it.
