I'm having trouble fully understanding what you're asking, but if it's whether or not this will work the answer is, yes. The converter will take 15k RGB and upscale the video to 31k VGA. Jamma boards tend not to use medium resolution, so purchasing a tri-sync will not justify the purchase price.

One thing to note with video converters is that the picture may not be perfect. The image quality varies depending on the monitor, the converter, game output and person viewing.

I am still uncertain about what you are asking: You now HAVE a monitor that supports 31khz, right?

The converter boards do just as joshua3dg says: it converts 15khz to 31khz. It does not make your monitor 31khz-capable.

sorry let me exsplane more.

wanting to run jamma 15k games boards in my sega naomi univ cab my monitor is a nano and only supports 31k with one of these boards i can upscale to 31k so i can run jamma games in my cab.

as just been offerd a unlocked taito G-net board for a great price and instead of running it in my STV cab with scanlines would rather run it under 31k enviroment.
