is it possible to convert a sega model 3 board to anothers game of the same step by only swaping eeprom on the top ?



is it the same for swaping sega model 2 into anothers model 2 game ?

You can convert games, if they are both on the same Step/Rev



For example Sega Rally 2 to Daytona 2



But on Model 3 most games require the security board.



Same for Model 2, you can convert say Virtua Cop to Daytona USA, but the other issue is the filterboards, as there is different types, digital, analogue and so on.
