Clearly these serials are not clean cut as the Gd-rom serials.

Virtua striker 3

840-0061C (REV.B)

Ferrari 355 Challenge (link-version)

834-13950

Dead or alive 2 Millenium

has the same serial like the normal Dead or Alive 2

C- means case of the PCB

B- for the PCB

A- for the Naomi-Mainboard

D- for case of mainboard

communicationboard has an E(840-0001E)

Toukon Retsuden 4 has the strange serial because the PCB was made by

NAMCO not SEGA.(I think)

Heavy Metal Geomatrix serial on my romboard is HMG016007 and on the PCB 841-0005B(like Spawn)

It looks like that capcom does the same with the serial.

Not sold romboards was used for the next game.

I think the romboards must be ordered by SEGA and SEGA gave him a serial

and if something happen the gamedeveloper gave him a own serial.
