Monkey ball without banana stick

Hello! is there a way to play this game without the banana stick?

I have a naomi cab with normal panel.

i believe any analogue stick would work, as thats all the banana is..wouldnt have the same feel though

yes a regular analog stick, athough you would need to modify the harness (thanks SkiDog!) and reverse the wiring, as in the panels regular setup, the controls are reversed, which makes it tricky to say the least! It plays nice with a regular stick, and at least with the regular stick you can use the same panel for other analog games, just remove the add in harness

I just checked out the CP with my DMM



My CP is JPN so I am not sure if these colors will match yours



I think you just need to either



1) Swap Yellow/Red and White/Red Wires on the CP

(These are the wires the go to the 'end taps' on the pots.)



or



2) Build a harness to sit in between CP and Cabinet Harness too swap Yellow/Red and White/Red Wires

(Again, These are the wires the go to the 'end taps' on the pots.)



This should work (assuming your CP has the same color wires on the CP)



The center taps (Red & Purple + Red/Grey & Purple/Grey) should be left in place.





Does this make sense w/ your wiring color scheme?





As you mentioned I think this is just swapping (AVCC) & (AGND)



Of course if you use option one ZR, Spawn and the other analog games will be backwards. If you use option two you can put the converter harness in for MB and Remove it for ZR & Spawn
