Analog stick for v-golf

Post by OldFoo »

Was checking out OldSchoolNeo's collection in the gallery, and saw this. It wasn't proprietary (for vgolf anyway), right? Would it just be like an outtrigger swap? If I remember correctly, the trackball games utilize an extra I/O, so then would that be compatible with all tball/stick analog games?

There is a pcb located on the panel itself. If I'm not mistaken, it's the same pcb for both types of controllers but connected to different inputs on the pcb. The pcb then connects to the I/O. Someone can correct me if I'm wrong. :D

Thanks J, and it's definitely a swap, right? Meaning - no v-golf kit had a stick included.

Yep, that's right. The only panel to have both a trackball and a joystick is Outrigger.

Word. And as soon as (if ever) Under Defeat doesn't cost me a kidney, here's the plan, using an old Virtual On CP I've got laying around:

As as rotating the monitor, shouldn't be too much of a hassle to build a custom frame/bezel. Am I the only one who loves these plastic cabs or what? For the usual cost and availability in the states, you can't beat em!
