My Street Fighter Zero 3 Upper does not work on my Arcade Naomi.
I just got it in from ebay and when I put the disc in my Naomi board, it didn't work. It says something like "Board Does Not Read Game".
Well there is an issue here. I have two Naomi boards. One of them plays the American version of Marvel VS Capcom 2. While the other board plays the EUROPEAN version of Capcom VS SNK 2. I put the game in both of the motherboards, it didn't work either way.
Since my Street Fighter Zero 3 Upper is the Japanese version, I wonder if I do need a Japanese Naomi. Ya I know it sounds like common sense but I assumed Naomi motherboards are universal. If this is the case then I was wrong. I was planning to buy a third motherboard anyway I just want to make sure I get the right one.
So please Naomi owners out there please tell me why my Street Fighter Zero 3 Upper does not work. Thank you.
Help!!! My Street Fighter Zero 3 Upper does not work
BIOS stands for Basic Input Output System. Think of it as the 'system software'. It is located underneath where you normally put the Naomi cart/Dimm module. It looks like this:

Look at the numbers on your BIOS and compare it to the ones on the Sega-Naomi main site--->BIOS List<---.
Also, please keep related questions to ONE post. There is no need to make a new post for every single question on the same subject. This is to keep the forums neat and clean. :smt023

Thank you. I apologize I won't do it again.
Can you give me a picture of where on the naomi the BIOS are located? So do you know where would I be able to get Japanese BIOS for my Naomi. If you can it would be nice if you could show me how to remove an old one and how to install a new one.
Thanks.
