Yeah I've got two of them (planet harriers dual cab). I've herd they are very flakey. Thankfully the boards survived the shipment, the cabinet on the other hand did not fair as well (hole in the side from improper packing).



Very nice Brave Firefighters! There is one local to me at a Dave and Busters...I'll have to go try it out again as I think I only played it once a very long time ago.

This must be your lucky day, I found the Naomi mobo that I did the repair on, and it just so happens to be the exact same burnt trace, again leading me to believe this is a more common failure...but not sure why.



You were also right, in that I didn't have to go around to the front side like on the Hikaru. Just a simple jumper wire to reconnect the points on the back.

This burn-out has not happened to any of my stuff, but does anyone know why this has happened? The signal going through the video port doesn't nearly have enough juice going through it to burn it out like that. :smt017
