Whats up with it just not recognising it or controls not working?

Yep, even with everything connected properly and both lights on the IO lighting up (indicating that there is power getting to it), I get an error message of "Error. JAMMA I/O NOT FOUND" on startup. I've been told that this is most likely caused by a bad I/O board or bad ROM on the I/O, since everything else appears to be connected properly

Does it say 'Jamma' or 'JVS' I/O?

It does say JAMMA I/O. I've been told that this refers to any I/O unit.

You might just need a controller chip, but chances are you'll get a working I/O for the same price or even less, unless someones got one they can chuck your way.

I just wanted to let you guys know that you rule! :smt007
I got my new I/O board from SWod today, got it installed, and my cab is up and running!
Now I just need to get the second-player harnesses from the seller, and I'll be good to go!
