It will load and screen pops up saying 1% to 100% and it will load. Can you get rid of that?

It sounds like you have the GD-ROM setup (disc reader). The memory module has the same type of memory chips that a computer uses, so when power is turned off, all loaded information is lost. Under normal arcade conditions, the game system is left on all day. This recharges a backup battery in the memory module, keeping the game data 'alive'. This charge lasts for about 3 days allowing the owner to turn off the game overnight or over the weekend and not have to reload the same software again.

In short, this 'load screen' cannot be avoided in a home setup because 1)we normally do not leave the game on all day and 2)we switch games from time to time.

I hope this answers your question. :D
