Game boot issue

Hello everyone!

I recently purchased Musapey's Choco Marker. I'm not sure what's wrong, but when the game is supposed to start after the Naomi screen, it pauses for a few seconds on a black screen and then goes to the test mode screen.

Anyone have any ideas?

ah, naomi the deuce - afraid all I can offer you there would be the same guesses you probably have come up with yourself. Since I'm not a VF4 fan, I never could justify getting one, based on how badass they look, alone. I will say that I had a similair problem w/a naomi 1 once, and that the problem ended up being a bad DIMM board. I don't think it went to the test screen though... The only time I recall that happening is when a cab setting was incorrect - Hey Yeah! That might be it! Of course you're orientation is ok, but check your system assignments in test; i.e. try making it a 1 player cab/changing the coin slot type/maybe even billboard. Good luck man, lmk!

Yeah, I tried changing some options to see what would happen. The game is meant for 2 players, so changing that gives errors on startup (incorrect system assignments). I can't seem to find a manual online, so I don't know the game's requirements should they be different than the norm. :smt017

Does anyone else have this game? If so, did you have any troubles like mine? Or did the game run flawlessly?

Ideas are always welcome! :smt100

I don't know this game. But maybe I met a similar problem and not solved.

I have a naomi 1 game"Power stone 2".After the Logo it enter the testing mode.I choose the exit and after a few seconds it enter again.Like a cycle.

I test the Rom Board.It is perfectly.So I don't know why.

Try it on a different setyup, try it on a Naomi 1 as well.. as it is a regular N1 GD-rom game.
