Hi. I am new to Naomi. I got GGXX recently and tested it today for the first time. My setup is a Naomi 1 GD-ROM (Japan Bios) with Sega Rev. B I/O Board but although the game loads perfectly from the gd-rom and got no errors I do not hear sound effects.
I do not hear the 'Heaven Or Hell' it says on the beginning, or the sound when I select character, or the sound of the hits and attacks but I can hear the music in the intro and in the game.
I get sound through the rca jacks to stereo pc speakers with internal amp and at least the music that I hear is loud and clear.
I went to the test menu for the game and in Test BGM all played ok and in the other categories nothing made a sound. Anybody had a similar problem?
By the way I tested my setup with the Capcom vs SNK PRO and the sound was ok, both music and effects.
