House of the Dead question (paging Geezer)

I was able to find myself a House of the Dead pcb finally, and I have a question. Apart from the fact that I'll have wires everywhere, is there anything that will keep me from playing this on an Egret 2? I know HOTD 2 requires sensors placed around the monitor, but what about the gun hardware used in the first game? Also, is the wiring setup basically just pcb -> gun I/O -> monitor? How would this be wired with a Model 2 to Jamma convertor? Thanks guys.

You need the gun I/O board otherwise it won't boot.

You will need a dedicated +5V psu to power the gameboard/gun i/o.

The actual guns are just standard light gun hardware, even Happ el cheapo light guns will work.

Should be some manuals on the net that show the wiring.
