Sega-Naomi

Hello,

i got a game marvel versus capcom 2.

The game did-n work animore,my sun connect 12v on 3.3 and the naomi blow up the bios and the rom cart,marvel versus capcom 2.Did n work animore.

I wanna know whath cough be happan to the game.

I did rom test on the rom cart and evriting is bad!

The naomi fortunally i did n report damage i got to change just the bios and i wil work fine teste whith 2 more game,rom cart.No gd rom.

This game is so expensive,pls help.

If rom test reports bad ics, i guess the cart is dead. Sorry dude.

It looks like you've had some bad luck. :smt009 In my experience, carts blow when they are not fully seated inside the Naomi. Somehow, the Naomi is unaffected by the experience. I had a Powerstone blow on me for this exact reason. Ever since then I triple check the cart before powering the system.



Sorry for the bad news, but the only way you might be able to save it is to ask Ken Westerfield at http://www.irepairsega.com/. He is a former Sega employee, and an expert on everything Sega. He can even repair malfunctioning boards (within reason, of course). He charges $75/hr for most repairs plus any parts needed.



Other than buying a new cart, this is the only option you have. :smt045
