error 24?

My Naomi 2 has today the Problem erroe 24 , GD rom not found.
I don`t understand this , woor all time good?
Where is the Problem?

First check the cable and see if it has any bent pins. Second make sure it is seated properly. Third make sure it is getting power. Hope I helped :smt020

I have check the Cabel , clean and look but I think is it OK or I can not see!
Where is the Problem , yesterday I have play , today the error 24.

Ok make sure it is seated properly. Even if it is a lil off you will get an error 24. I had that problem yesterday. I checked the seating of the cable and turned the game back on and it worked. Make sure you can hear the GD-ROM working. Also make sure the lid is fully seated. The NAOMI GD-ROM setup is very picky. You need to make sure everything is tight and seated properly. :smt020

Error 24 normally means the SCSI controller board has died, normally down to over heating (due to the fan crapping out) or getting to much dust or a power spike, caused by the fan.
Always the same IC that goes out, stripping the gd-rom drive will reveal the popped IC.

When you mean the Board , the fans work all.
Only the big fan works not so good , I think i need new.
Or what you mean?

Hey Andy, I'm just curious which particular IC you're talking about...I have several of these boards spare in various states of disrepair, and I'm always on the lookout to learn me somethin new.
