Since last week I'm a proud owner of Virtua Fighter Final Tuned. However I was wondering if VF?NET is still functional on NAOMI?

If it is still around, it only works in Japan. :smt045

So that means VF?Net is IP-region locked? If so with a proxy you should be able to use it.... (I doubt it uses allot of bandwith)

If VF Net is still around, and you managed to find a way to connect to it, one would ask, 'Why go through all the trouble?'. The only thing you can do is post/view scores of other players. You can't lan-play others or do anything else worthwhile. That's the reason why the members of this forum have not pursued this capability.

So, to answer your question I would say using a re-routing technique might work because it's IP. But I think the likelihood is small and not worth the effort.

I guess I'm going to bite the bullet; and going to put a UTP cable in the dimm board and see how it goes.

VF.NET is defunct.

Sega changed it to ALL.NET which is used by lots of games.
