Having trouble with my CP in my Uni cab.

I'm hoping the experts here can shed some light with a problem I've been having with my cab.

It's a Naomi Uni cab, with the original Sega I/O board.

When I connect everything, including my CP, sometimes everything works great, and other times, the controls just stop working.

Not some of them, all of them.

This can be just before I start a game, during, etc. No rhyme or reason.

I thought perhaps I had a loose connection, so I checked everything, and made sure. Doesn't seem to be the case.

So, I'm wondering what can cause this. I/O board?

It's beyond frustrating, so I'm really hoping someone can help identify the cause and a possible solution.

Thanks,

Steve

When things happen randomly it normal down to voltage (normally dropping out briefly)

It won't drop out briefly - everything will be working fine, but then the controls will drop out, and not recover.

Audio and video are fine when this happens.

Suggestions?

Really could use some help here.

Could it be my I/O board?

If it was my cab i would try to replace the i/o board first. If it just stops working i guess it's not a faulty cable or something. Might set you back around 50 quid but it's worth the try i think. Good luck man!
