what screen is a direct replacement for sega naomi cab

hi there guys got my first naomi cab its a little tatty but for me the fun bit is getting it all sorted and looking real nice anycase i can see a wrestling rumble or something game burnt on the screen and was wondering where to get or which scereen can i put in its place that will drop straight in and plug up or maybe someone has a spare good condition one for sale :smt006

it all depends on what the monitor model is that in the cab-different curvature of crt etc

hi there mate its just a standard sega naomi uni cab never been changed but it has screen burn i can see it on light pictures and slightly when machine is off

Hey man! Grantspain means it could be a Sanwa or Nanao display which possibly require a different bezel (plastic front).



If you replace it with a flat screen (Sanwa PFX) you would have gabs between the screen and bezel. (not too bad tho) You got bezel fillers for that or aquire a brand bezel which fits the monitor.



A new monitor will also cost you. Most older Naomi's suffer from burn. I personally can live with minor burn-in but if i run into a good replacement i would grab it instantly. :)

I just got a Sanwa PFX. Its a tri sync monitor and I hear it has a fantastic picture. Was going to put it in my Astro but now hoping to get a Uni and put in there to make tri. =) I got it from a guy on ebay who has been selling them. $380 with shipping. From what I hear from the Europe guys its a steal of a price.
