hallo,
i recently bought marvel vs capcom 2 inkl. nami board. as i only have a european naomi universal cabinet with 3 button per player, i decided to buy a astro city control panel from highway entertainment AUS. Now my problem, the kick buttons don't work. on the player 1 side it doesn't work at all, on the player 2 side they work when i'm pushing all 3 kick buttons together. there is an additonal loom on the panel, if i compere it with the original panel.
i only have a original sega io instead of the capcom i.o. Is this the problem?
many thanks
milenko

You should be able to trace each wire from the button to it's place on the IO and determine if anything is mis-wired.

Hello Scogon
Thanks for your help. I think the panel includes a 6 button loom, as it looks exactly like the one at segashed.
My colleague used this panel with a capcom i/o. That's why he's not having trouble with it.
Do I have to change the order of the wires on the "amp" or on the buttons side? I don't know where to unplug the wires. you what I mean? And how should I now which color fits to which pin/plug?
Could maybe somebody explain me how to that? I'm sorry, i know that I have to improve my skills.. but I have no idea..
Cheers

I just wanted to add some pictures from the astro city control panel and the wiring it has. Unfortunately I don't how to upload the fotos.
I'm not sure if i have a kick harness. Is this the kick harness?
http://triplemoonstar.brinkster.net/seg ... ockid=2162
I this harness included in a normal european naomi universal?
What I think that I do have, is the following extra button loom. At least It looks like the one i have in the cp.
http://triplemoonstar.brinkster.net/seg ... ockid=1471
What I also have are the two normal player 1 and player 2 amp. They work as the punch buttons are working. Even if they are not working in the correct order.
Could somebody pleeeeaaaaseeeee help me. Do I need a Kick Harness? As soon as I know how to post some pictures, i will do so.
Thanks

Milenko, I would remove you email address from your post, if I were you.. you will probably get a lot of spam because of it (boards like these get scanned for email addresses). It is best to send your address in a PM.
Just a hint..
