Can an error 01 cart be fixed? (Powerstone Error 01)

Just got that Naomi cab from the faq section and got a Power Stone cart gives error 01 (which I was aware of before I bought). I have made sure its in there good and the board has a 77 bios rev E so I beleive it should be OK. I haven't bothered trying it in one of my other boards yet but this one passes on all ram tests and when I go into test mode to test the board it shows up as an unknown cart and gives me ---- as a result for each chip with all other readings being 0000. Any ideas? Does Power Stone need a Capcom converter to run on a US bios? I doubt it. Could this guy I keep reading about, Ken, fix it?

The ROM test basically failed. The best person to ask if it can be fixed is Ken himself. Try going here-->

If your in Europe I could also fix your cart, not sure if it's viable though, it would depend on what powerstone is worth?

That's the problem I came across as ken wanted I think like $70 to fix and I believe its only worth $70 - $90.

If you want to sell it for a song, I'd be willing to experiment on it to see what is wrong with it.
I have a small stock of the 16 bit buffer chips for the carts and can see if one or more of those is bad.
