Help guys does this error 26 mean the dimm board to my gd-rom is no good?
Regular carts are working fine.

I already checked the security key, and the whole system was pulled from a virtua golf so I cant imagine its the wrong key.

Here's an idea: :smt115
Underneath the shiny metal cover on the Dimm module, there is a small board that the security chip mounts to. Try removing and reseating this small board. I've had this code and reseating the board worked.
