Hikaru I/O and Amp questions

Hello, this is my first post here and have a few questions.I got nascar arcade of ebay and got it run on my lcd tv and I have the I/O jamma converter 838-13683-02 ,what my question is do I need a coin counter to make the controls to work because the guy I got this off of is going to send me the steering wheel,shifter and pedals.He will send me anything else I need ,also is there a way of using a usb racing wheel such as Logitech's G27.The other question I need to know is ,can I connect the sound to a receiver with out using the amp that I got with it or do I need to use the amp.It is the same amp that the naomi board uses.Should I ask this guy for the volume adjuster because there is a test and service button on it and not sure how I could get to the game options without it .
