I have a naomi 2 and I know about the dip switches on the outside but what about all the dip switches inside under the cart. Does anyone have a map of what they do? Or can someone put online a naomi 2 manual?????

Thanks!

Unfortunately, there is no documentation on what all the switches do. A few have been identified by process of elimination, like RS-232 communication protocol. Unless you are connecting a card reader, this information is not all that useful. :smt102

Which ones do we know? Mine came from a Initial D ver2 cabs. Wouldn't it say in the naomi 2 manual what the switches are for? Someone must have a manual....

Here is a picture maybe we could piece together a map of what they do?

There is No reason to touch those jumpers.

Only ones you need to know is the one to enable RS232 serial.

AndyGeezer is correct. Also, when I said in my previous post that "there is no documentation", I meant that they are not even mentioned in the Naomi system manual.

Thanks for the reply. My Naomi 2 is setup that way but since I am NOT linking or using a card reader should I turn it off? Is there any benefit to turning it off, like is it faster because it isn't checking for card reader on startup etc. And that post only shows the configuration for turning it on and mine is already set that way so how should I turn it off.

Thanks

As far as I know, enablling or disabling the serial ports via these jumpers will not affect anything in terms of performance.
