Is there a way to make a bypass harness that will show a card reader on a Sega Initial D when its not there?



I am aware of the option to turn it off in the menu screen but some times the game reboots and the option defaults back to ON and I then have a service call to disable it.

Sorry to say, but no. Once the option is 'ON' in service mode, the Naomi does a communication test to the reader pcb, so no bypass would be effective.
