over the past cpl of months ive bought pieces towards building my own arcade cab...
i got it all hooked up and there is power lights and both fans running on my naomi motherboard but i get no video and audio
any help would be great

Have you checked all connections? Are all componants aside the Naomi receiving suffent power? For video is the Naomi set to 15Khz or 31( (on DIPSW#1)?

Yeah, start by checking the power supply voltages. Pay close attention to the 5V value. It should be about 5.1.
Try running the system in its 'bare' form, without any cart or DIMM connected. It should start and give an ERROR 01.

I don't know what your setup is.
To test for video, just connect a vga computer monitor to the Naomi, but make sure it's set to 31khz.
This could rule out whether you are having problems with your arcade monitor or not - assuming that is what you are using.
