ID5 compatibility

Post by OldFoo »

Hi guys,

I have just bought an ID5 racing machine and would like to understand what is required to enable the use of my triforce and chihiro motherboards on it.

Any additional stuffs to buy whether I intend to play Mario Kart GP 2 via my ID5 ? I was told that it could be the case.

Sorry whether the questions mentioned above do not make sense, but I would really appreciate your help.

PS : I would use the Triforce and the Chihiro via the Netboot process (all needed components already present).

All you really need is a Lind to JVS Power adapter cable.

As the cab is JVS ready, some games will require a bit of rewiring for shifter/vr button etc.

You could also play other Lindbergh games on there, like RaceTV, R-Tuned, ID4, Hummer.

Many thanks for the very prompt reply, Andy.

One final question : Is that Linbergh to JVS Power adapter provided in such cabinet?

I will try to find how it looks like but I really thought I would only have to plug these motherboards on the JVS output.

Edit : It appears to be the one sold at 25 pounds on your web-site (no longer available arggg :-(). Thanks again for your help.
