6 buttons in Naomi cab

Post by OldFoo »

Hello,

I'm new here, and I've just purchased a nice Naomi cab!

I've lurked the forum for a while, and after seeing many cool projects in here I decided to go as well for this beautiful cab.

I don't really have any JVS experience, so forgive me if this sounds dumb...

my cab came with Virtua Strikers 3 and 2p3b, but I would like to change that and make it a 6 buttons for each player.

I've seen on another post that I need this:

but I'm wondering where it should be plugged. Below pictures of my I/O device

Hope you guys can advice me on what to do, and if I need additional wires.

Thanks a lot :)

Hi check out Andy geezer at sega shed or Craig at giz10p both have these cables. I think the other plugs are for analogue controls ( trackball steering wheels etc....)

Unfortunately they are out of stock in both sites :(

After reading in the product details of the extra button loom on Segashed the following:

"Although the plug is a 10pin AMP connector, it plugs into the 15pin AMP connector on UK Naomi's.".

I was wondering if they might refer to the one I have in the lower part. If that would be the case I wouldn't need to get the whole kick harness and just the loom right?
