Sega Club Kart Low Res Possible?

Got a sega club kart european session cart and on startup I get an error msg telling me to switch to High res. this game will not play on a low res monitor?

No. There are some games that will only play in hi-res mode such as Initial D, Club Cart and a few others. Games like this mention hi-res only mode in their perspective manuals.
