Hi, i have installed Initial D 5 in my yellow lindbergh. The attraction mode (the videos) are ok, but once i press service (coins) i get the error message 417. The only way to exit that window is to press SETUP.



Any idea?

I believe (i'm sure actually) error 417 is an error concerning reading/writing from and/or to the cardreader.

You can try to a> disable the cardreader in the service menu, so you are sure that is the problem.



Next would be troubleshooting what exactly is the problem with the cardreader (do you actually have one, if not then leave it disabled and you should be fine, though i warn you the game is no fun to play without cardreader)

It was the lack/absense of card reader.
