About a week ago I've finished repainting my Sega Naomi cabinet.
I'm now wondering how I can make the result more smooth / protected.
I've already been adviced to use 'Commandant 7', but have no experience with it.
Can someone tell me how I should handle this.
- What tools do I minimally need?
- Is there any danger to damage the paintjob?
- Can I do this without dismantling the cabinet?
- Can I perform this on the screen-cover and other parts?

If it feels rough to touch its probably over spray from when you painted it. Best way would be to use a good cutting compound like G3 and hand buff it to a nice shine.
Then put a few thin coats of clear laquer over it to protect the paint.
Give it another once over with G3 after to give it a deep shine.
Dont panic with the G3 as it will make it look dull at first but once you buff it off it will look the part.

# Morrigu99 :
- Do I need anything specific to hand buff itwith the G3?
- Any ideas on type / marque of the clear laquer?
- Do I need to remove all parts when spraying clear laquer (I don't want to damage the white parts)
- Can I use G3 & clear laquer for both the screen-cover and sides (basically everything blue)
Thanks!
