Video Resolution Help - Model 3 to Chihiro Cab

I am trying to play Super GT on my 29 Sanwa CTHR cabinet. I believe the monitor is 31K? I don't really understand video resoutions, I thought Model 3 ran on VGA or is it EGA on a VGA pinout? What do I need to play the game? As it is now, I see 3 or 4 of everything on the screen. Thanks for any help!

Model 3 is EGA on the DB15 VGA connector, just at VGA ttl levels of 0.7vpp

Thanks! So I guess any converter that upscales from medium res to VGA should work?
