Converting triforce to Naomi 2

I have a naomi universal cabinet with VS4 and I am about to convert it to a naomi 2 system. Since the VS4 uses analog stick I bought a new digital control panel. There is three connections from the control panel to the NUC. 2 out of 3 is exactly the same but the third is not. The VS4 is a 8 pin molex with cables in all holes. The new ontrol panel is a 10 pin molex but it is only cables in 8 holes. Is it possible to cut away the column that is not used to make the 10 pin molex fit into the cabinet?

Sorry i didn't know that the digital control panel was hocked upp differently to the analogue one. Problem solved
