F355 Challenge -> F355 Challenge 2 - newbie question

I recently was fortune enough to acquire a F355 Challenge DX unit (3 monitor unit).



What I really want to do is upgrade it to the F355 Challenge 2 (this has more racetracks). http://sega-naomi.com/software/n/F355_2 ... dition.htm



What do I need to do to upgrade this unit? Where can I get cartridge/rom or whatever is needed?

F355 IC2 is fairly rare cart, as it was consider a downgrade - in order to fit the extra tracks, most of the textures got a bashing (reduced textures quality and don't get me started on the background textures!).



But yeah, it's just a rom cart - but like I said I don't see them often at all these days.



I could eventually build F355 2 carts, but the cost of the 64Mb flash roms, makes it expensive.

@Andy. Thanks for the reply. I didnt know the F355 2 had reduced quality, but it makes sense.



So assuming one had a cartridge I could swap it in an out easily. Thanks.



When you say you could build a cart and that it would be expensive, what kind of price are we talking?
