Sega V1 JAMMA I/O

Post by OldFoo »

Rev A I/O board - jumper to select whether 5v/12v are from the PSU via the 6 pin connector or via the JAMMA harness

Rev B - Jumper removed, appears to auto detect where voltage is coming from

The first Rev had some serious problems. I've lost the tech doc on it :smt011, but you had to break a couple of traces on the PCB for coins to work.

I'd like to get the coin inputs working (wish I would've gotten a CAPCOM I/O board...)

Do you have that pic for where to break and/or solder?

Thanks!

Is there any more info on the differences? I'm getting one but I've only found a REV.A so far. I don't want to buy it if it has got "serious technical problems". I don't mind soldering a bit if I know where to modify.
