dj, the pure flat in the chop is more heavier than regular Nanao/Sanwa, the flatter the tube the heavier the monitor.. weird but true..



The Tosh PF is around 6-8KG heavier.

Was the monitor discharged before it was rotated?



I'm planning on doing this to mine and wondered if That would be necessary.

That would definitely be recommended. You really don't want to be zapped by a CRT. That or you can wrap the tube (or yourself!:smt005) in plastic.

Had my Naomi in pieces without discharging the monitor, its not so bad on a Sega frame than on say on a Impress.
