i can be wrong but i am pretty sure the ones i saw had a blue background. But even if i am right, that doesnt means yours is fake. There are often more than one marquee version.

If you look in the software section of the main site, you will see the people

in the screenshot playing MonkeyBall with the red background. --->MB Marquee<---

Only MB marquee I have seen have a red background..

Pretty sure i already saw this one "naomi" styled...
