My Sega Blast City with Naomi GD-Rom setup

Post by OldFoo »

Hello, Long time since i posted any pictures here. Here's my Naomi 1 GD-Rom setup inside my Blast City. Chose for Naomi 1 cause i only plan to run shooters on it. The Blast City is pretty much perfect to run anything from 15 to 31 khz with awesome quality.

This official Sega 001 loom makes it able to connect everything from JAMMA to JVS.

Mounted the lot on a board

Looks fantastic.

What is your Blast originally wired for, since you are using the Sega loom? Model 3?

Thanks! :) Cab was wired for JAMMA only when i bought it. Never seen any model 3 wiring and also have no real interest in it. I replaced the JAMMA loom with the one you see on the picture.

Thanks, Yes it is! :) Pretty much my favorite cab at the moment. No burn, MS-2931 Toshiba tube with / Nanao chassis. Auto-sync with OSD. Slight convergence issue in the corners which is common with Blasts but i can live with that.
