Crazy Taxi chopped cab

Post by OldFoo »

Hi All,

Thought I would share this with you guys...

Image

I referbished the bezel to match the CP & chopped the cab to make it a sitdown & have made quick release CP harness so I connect it to my U-HID & back again with easy.

I also attached the pedals the other way around to the front door (keeping the order correct)

Just need a few cosmetic thing to complete

2 leg stands

4 bezel screw covers

CP & bezel stickers

PM me if you got any of these going spare :-)

i?m more a fan of the original naomis, but everyone

seems to like those chopped ones more^^

anyway, great work =) how much did you paid for that cab?

at the moment there is one on e-bay for about 1200? plus shipping, wich is too expensive for me :smt010

I actually played with this idea myself some time ago. Since all my cabs are sitdown i always stayed away from Naomi standup racers cause don't like the looks very much but this is quite a neat solution putting the pedals on the service door.

I'm wondering, Couldn't you just use the original floorplate with pedals instead of this solution. And how's the leg room?

Well done job btw!

This is unique stuff; I like these wacky conversions.

Are the pedals sturdy enough when mounted to that access door? I would suspect things to bend/rattle more easily?
