parris, i would go to sleep and try it again tomorrow, and i would not start swaping parts with a working unit if you dont know what you are doing, you could come with 2 fucked units. Sometimes the fix is pretty clear, but you joust cant see it cause you are tired, go to sleep and try it again tomorrow m8

We've contacted the original seller on eBay about it and I'll ask him exactly how he has arranged his set-up. There might be something that he knows that could be useful. I would actually like to send them back to him in order to ascertain whether he can actually still boot the units up or not. That way he'll realize we are not messing him around. If I were him I'd have started to consider the possibility that the purchaser was a complete fool! Actually, he might be right... Having little technical experience of these units I am at a loss as to where we are going wrong.

Thanks for the clear list of how the unit operates. We should be seeing the splash. I assume the power supply for the Naomi 1 and Naomi 2 motherboards are the same (identical output?)

yes parris, your cab will handle the machine with just swap it, basically if you got a naomi1 motherboard working in a cab, just swaping a naomi2 machine on it will work.

i would do the tests im telling you before anything, and i will wait 1 minute until unplug the machine.

Naomi2 bios dosent shows when you power the machine, it just takes some secconds until you get the image ...

i hope you fix this mess, i dont think those machines are fragile, but who knows ...
