Help with my supergun please

Post by OldFoo »

Hi

i just bought a pretty awesome 2nd hand supergun, and i got tons of questions about it, i hope some1 can help me :)

ok first question is : i got two adaptors

atm im ussing the green one with my naomi machine and it works great, i would like to know if im ussing the right one and whats the other one used for

2nd question :

Image

can any1 tell me what are all those outputs/pots/switches on the back used for ?

I know one is the audio volume, other video out and another audio out, and the ones in the right are fuses, one more is svideo out, but i dont know what the two switches in the back are used for, and same for the other pot near the audio pot.

my last question is : i also got a neogeo mb that i still havent plugged affraid to fuck it cause the audio stuff i saw in other forum, wich adaptor should i use for the neogeo ? green or blue one ?

and most important, i got a pal tv and the svideo looks bad, i think its cause it outputs ntsc jap video and my tv dosent supports it, i got a dell monitor that supports 15k, how could i plug it to my neogeo mb ?

is there any way to get 15k video output from this supergun to my dell monitor ?

is there any way to get an rgb output that i could use with my pal tv throught rbg tv in ?

thanks in advance :)

Give me a close up picture of the manual and I'll tell you what they mean. The one on the left I can make out, its the operator test switch. The second one I can't make out what it says, but I seem to recall that it switches between Mono and Stereo audio.

Ok, the four left ones are, left to right

1)It's hard to make out the first two kanji, but I think this is for brightness/contrast.

2)Test Switch

3)Sound Volume

4)Rapid Fire ON/OFF switch

Next to that is the 5V adjustment pot.

The ones to the right of that are pretty much self explanatory :)

The one with Blue Jamma connector has a CPS-2/3 Kick harness attached to it. You should have no problems using your boardmaster with Neo-Geo however it seems like you need to either get a Jamma Harness made to support the 4th button which is A' on the fingerboard or get one made. I had one made through Neoamusement.

If you get a CPS2 kick harness female connector, you can solder up buttons 4 & 5 on the edge connector and then just connect the kick male end into it when you need to play 4/5 button games without the CPS kick connector.

Thats what I do and it suits me fine as I don't have to switch between harnesses :)
