Its the same connector as found on Floppy drives (remember them?)

It's not the same as a floppy connector, the shape is a bit different and so is the pitch (2.54" vs 2.50"). The actual connector is made by Hirose:

As far as I remember Digikey is the only place online where the above parts can be bought. To make adapters you can use the double row in-line plug plus contacts (if you have a compatible crimping tool) or the double row straight pin header (if you have a soldering iron).

I made a load of CPS2 Kick looms using old floppy cables :smt017

I do know people sometimes use floppy cables to make ghetto harnesses but it's not the mating connector.
