CFM Guns don't register

On my CFM both guns stopped registering (trigger & sight). But the start buttons work. The game does not give any faults on startup or in test mode. The guns are connected.

I first tought about a faulty USB cable, but in that case the start buttons wouldn't work?

Anybody an idea?

sounds like faulty gun board, or the gun board has no power..

Check the LEDS around the screen, 5 top and 5 bottom, they should have little red dots powered on

Only now I found some time to take a look.

I took my camera to look at the infra red leds. Normally there are 2 for each 'window' I believe? None of them works, but I think i see them flashing very briefly with 1s intervals. What does this mean? No power on the gun board?

As I mentioned before the start buttons do register, but I didn't have a look yet if they are connected to the same board.
