Triforce lines on output

Hi all,

Got my Type-1 here and I've been noticing it's been displaying lines throughout the bios. It only seems to dissapear in the converage test. The video cable doesn't seem to be doing it and I've tried various power supplies, anything else?

Think you'll find thats supposed to look like that on that screen, its how they wanted it i think, eye candy.

It's definatly not eye candy at all.

Oh right looks that good that its meant to be, its in game aswell then?I was almost sure mine had the same lines last time i had it on.

Can see what you mean now i've watched the vid , what are you running it on ? Monitor etc?

I have no dimm-board, let alone games currently. It does this in all screens except converage. Like so:

Couldn't get any shots of the purity bars with the lines in, but they're there.

If this is normal then fine, but I don't see at as eye candy, rather an annoying thing.

Soryr, didn't see this post before.

It's a 1680x1050 LCD screen with VGA input. It has worked flawlessy for the Naomi and my computer but Triforce it does this. I've tried various cables and power supplies likeI said, but while one power uspply seemed to make the lines worse, nothing really changed. I've tried plugging a GC Composite cable in but can't tell if the line remain, It's NTSC J which my TV doesn't support, plus my TV is quite small, so if there are any, I can't see them. Regardless, through the composite it looks like a very clean picture.

I have the same issue but not just on the BIOS screen but in the game too (Virtua Striker 2002).

The small black line on the top of the screen. (bigger one because the photo). I have a Naomi Universal cab and my Naomi 2 system has perfect picture in it.
