Gigawing 2 slowdowns

Hello,

I have received Gigawing 2 for my naomi. I am experiencing severe slowdowns very often. I am using it on a naomi 1 system with a Japan bios (changed from an export bios).

Do you think it is normal ?

I always thought the slowdown was normal, there is quite a lot going on in parts.

Do you think it could come from I am playing it in europe (in france) where the power is 50 Hz whereas the game (gigawing 2) was originaly made to be played in usa or japan where power is 60 hz ?

The Naomi itself is powered with DC (direct current), the 50Hz AC is transformed by the SUN PSU so it's not that.

Its the game, Its notorious for its slowdown.

Yes i think also its only the game...the first Gigawing have also slowdowns and its normal...

I had gigawing on the DC and it slowed down alot, I wouldn't worry if I was you mate.

It's the developer's fault for not correctly limiting the number of spirites on the screen at the same time. It's not uncommon in scrolling shooters. :smt011
