I'm considering the possibilities of building a VO rig but I have a few questions, if anyone could help please?
How easy are the Naomi carts to obtain, and what sort of price do they fetch? I assume the joysticks interface via the 26pin connector found on Sega I/O boards? Is it just a standard Sega [non-]Jamma I/O, or would I require a specific model / revision? What joysticks can I actually use? I was looking at what Happ has to offer and this one seems the closest. Does anyone possibly have the Sega part no.s of the actual VO sticks and a rough idea of cost?
I'm sorry for asking so many questions, and I really appreciate any help.

CP Might be difficult to make.
You have two 4-way joysticks that both rotate Left-Right.

I think I paid about $250 for the panel and $300 for the cartaige.
So even if you make panel plan on spending about $300 for the cart.
(Unless you get lucky)

so they go UDLR and they're twisty?
^_^ I saw those a while back...
They're easy to make with the right components.

Yep, UDLR and Twisty and a fire button.
You're probably right... easy to make with the right components.
By the time it was all said and done I figured my time was worth more than the cost too make one.
Plus the original is a collectors item.
BTW I really like your avitar (The girl with the springy SEGA logo)
