The cart is certainly obtainable then, preferably two. But it really is the joysticks and the panel that seem to be hard to come by. I can have the panel and artwork made, it's just the sticks I need to obatin. Could anyone with a VO set-up look to see if there is a part no. on there please so I can at least try to see if I can get them as spares direct from Sega. And while you're at it, have a look at the I/O please. Hopefully it is just a standard Sega one.

I'm now thinking it may be easier to use a couple of sets of Dreamcast twin-sticks. Hopefully it will be possible to use those sticks with a Sega I/O. If not it'll be a Dreamcast in the cab running through a VGA box.

Both the Cartraige and Panel are obtainable

(if you have about $550/ea set)

I can take a look this weekend for a P/N on the joysticks

(my panel is safely packed away)

The panel works with the JVS I/O and proper cables.

I think it would be difficult to get it to work with JAMMA I/O board

I have the VOOT panel. I have been using for the Model 2 VO and it works just fine. Mine panel came in a sanwa box. You can buy just the sticks from sanwa. The product code is....

JLJ-PL2-8V (flat mount plate)

JLJ-PL2-8NV ("S" mount plate)

or

JLJ-PL2-8NVMI ("S" mount plate with a camouflage plastic case)

Thank you for the replies. I'm looking into pricing of the Sanwa sticks now. I suppose it's just a case of waiting for a couple of carts to show up before I do anything. The rest of the parts I can obtain at any time I suppose.

You pretty much have to order directly from Sanwa. I will post some pictures tonight. The camo one does look quite cool.

I understand that this is an old post, but I love this game and I am looking for this cartridge.

I am pretty sure that the sticks do not twist. They are just UDLR 8 way with two buttons - thumb and trigger.
